DEXTools API V3

Overview

The DEXTools API v3 provides programmatic access to real-time and historical data from decentralized exchanges (DEXs) across all supported blockchains. It covers token metadata, pricing, pool analytics, rankings, audits, and security scores.

The API is read-only and uses GET requests exclusively. Every response uses a consistent JSON envelope with a statusCode and a data payload.

Authentication

Authenticate every request with your API key in the X-API-Key header.

X-API-Key: your-api-key-here

Use GET /v3/hello to verify connectivity and confirm your key is valid.

Credits and rate limits

Credits are deducted per request based on your subscription plan, and each plan has its own per-minute request limit. If you exceed either limit the API responds with 429 Too Many Requests. Check your remaining monthly budget with GET /v3/accounts/subscription.
